All known XRPL airdrops — past, present, and upcoming — with eligibility requirements, snapshot dates, and claim status.
Cardano's Midnight privacy blockchain airdropped NIGHT governance tokens across 8 chains. XRP holders received 5% of the 24 billion total supply. Snapshot: June 11, 2025. Minimum $100 XRP in non-custodial wallet.
The original XRP airdrop — Flare Finance distributed FLR tokens to XRP holders who held XRP on December 12, 2020 (snapshot). Some wallets still have unclaimed FLR and SGB (Songbird) rewards as of 2026. Non-custodial wallets like XUMM can still access old rewards.
Evernode — XRPL's Layer 2 smart contract platform — airdropped 5,160,960 EVRS to XRP holders. Snapshot was taken before the Hooks sidechain launch. Holders needed their XRP stored on-chain (non-custodial), not on exchanges.
XAO DAO — launched February 27, 2026 as XRPL's community governance layer — uses XRP holdings as voting weight. O-Points tracking via XRP on-chain activity. Active XRP holders may have accumulated governance credits since 2025 testnet rollout.
With wXRP launching on Solana on April 17, 2026 via Hex Trust and LayerZero, multiple Solana DeFi protocols (Jupiter, Meteora) are expected to run early liquidity provider incentives for wXRP holders. Early bridgers and LP providers typically qualify for retroactive drops.
Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin (over $1.2 billion circulating by late 2025) periodically runs distribution campaigns to incentivize XRPL ecosystem activity. Active XRPL wallets and liquidity providers in XRP/RLUSD AMM pools have received RLUSD rewards in past campaigns.
Trust lines

receive tokens.
XRPL requires a manual Trust Line before you can receive any token. Unlike Ethereum, tokens can't be "pushed" to your address — you must explicitly authorize each token issuer.
Stay safe
Airdrop scams
are everywhere.
Every major airdrop attracts scammers. Know the rules before you claim anything.
Legitimate airdrops never require your 12 or 24 word seed phrase, private key, or secret key. Any website, bot, or person asking for this is a scam — regardless of how official it looks. Your seed phrase is the only thing that grants access to your wallet.
Always verify you're on the official project website before clicking claim. Scammers create lookalike domains (midnight-claim.com, flare-airdrop.io) that steal funds when you connect. Bookmark official sites. Check domain age and official social media for links.
Scammers flood Telegram, Discord, and X with DMs claiming you have unclaimed tokens. No legitimate project will DM you to claim an airdrop. All real airdrop announcements come from verified official accounts and are widely covered in crypto media.
Most XRPL airdrops require XRP in a self-custody wallet (XUMM, Crossmark, Ledger) — not on an exchange. Exchange-held XRP means the exchange controls the actual XRPL address. Move to self-custody before the next snapshot to ensure eligibility.
Before setting a Trust Line or interacting with any airdrop contract, verify the issuer address on Bithomp.com or XRPScan.com. Check transaction history, account age, and token details. Scam tokens often have no history or suspicious activity.
Most airdrops have a claim window — typically 60 to 90 days. After the window closes, unclaimed tokens may be burned or returned to the treasury. The NIGHT token claim window was 60 days (Aug–Oct 2025). Check deadlines and act before expiry.

Midnight (a privacy blockchain by the Cardano ecosystem) distributed NIGHT tokens to XRP holders. Snapshot: June 11, 2025. XRP holders needed at least $100 worth of XRP in a non-custodial wallet at snapshot time. XRP holders received 5% of 24 billion total NIGHT supply — 1.2 billion tokens. The 60-day claim window opened August 5, 2025. Exchange-held XRP was not eligible.
-
Usually no. Most XRPL airdrops require XRP in a self-custody wallet (XUMM/Xaman, Crossmark, or Ledger) because the exchange holds the actual XRPL address — not you. Some major exchanges (Binance, Coinbase) support selected airdrops on your behalf, but this is exchange-specific and not guaranteed. For maximum airdrop eligibility, move XRP to a non-custodial XRPL wallet before the next snapshot.
-
XRPL requires a manual opt-in called a Trust Line before you can receive any token (other than native XRP). Unlike Ethereum, tokens can't be pushed to your address without consent. Setting a Trust Line costs ~2 XRP as a reserve (returned when you remove it). Always set Trust Lines for upcoming airdrop tokens before the distribution date using the official issuer address from verified sources only.

As of April 2026, the main areas to watch are: (1) wXRP ecosystem incentives — Jupiter, Meteora, and Titan Exchange may run LP incentive programs for early wXRP bridgers after the April 17, 2026 launch; (2) RLUSD distribution campaigns for active XRPL AMM liquidity providers; (3) XAO DAO governance — early community participants may receive retroactive points. Increased XRPL developer activity also suggests future sidechain airdrop potential.
